How Do You Get A Shiny Pokemon In Emerald Karin's Flashback-Tying Everything Together "

From the moment that the 3rd Databook was released, most of us in the SasuKarin fandom have had a theory about Sasuke and Karin's first meeting, in which Sasuke was with Orochimaru in the moment that the sannin found Karin in her destroyed village. Regardless, Chapter 482 has just revealed to us how Sasuke and Karin's first meeting went, as well as the village Karin was originally from.

At first glance, there seemed to be a few inconsistencies, so hereby I'll try to tie everything together in a way that not only dissipates (more or less) such inconsistencies, but also makes more than pausible that our theory about Sasuke and Karin's meeting did in fact take place, the only difference being that it wasn't their first meeting, but rather, their second one.

As far as this matter goes, the MOST important bits from Karin's databook entry Are :

Otherwise Would it not make sense, as the Databook Clearly Indicates That she fulfills her Duties and works under Orochimaru's orders Simply Because of Sasuke. So, Without Sasuke around, Then she WOUldn’t have any reason to do it and in turn, no incentive to join Orochimaru in the first place.

Those bolded lines imply quite a lot. First, it mentions how Karin felt no obligation towards Orochimaru; which raises the question of why she agreed to serve him in the first place. And second, it reveals that Karin fulfilled her duties out of affection for Sasuke. Which means that he’s the main reason of why she was there; or of why she was there at all .

As such, it’s easy to assume that Sasuke was with Orochimaru when the latter found her in the slaughtered village, because it’s what would make the most sense cateen with him
, which should indicate that this was indeed the moment where Karin and Sasuke’s meeting happened. Though of course it is still possible that it happened a day before that. One never knows. But I think the chances of that are slim, since Sasuke carrying the exact same water canteen with him is too much of a coincidence to actually be one, plus the timeline makes a lot of sense if this is the moment, as right after Sasuke returns to Team 7, they along with Kabuto leave in search of a Heaven Scroll and afterwards the exams end.
(However if we abide by the facts that the manga seems to be presenting, it’s quite interesting to notice that by that moment, Sasuke was already
pretty stressed out
as they were running out of time and their next Would Be Their opponent last chance at getting the Heaven scroll. So it's Quite Interesting That I Smile At Karin in Such a relaxed way lol) So

Plus, Karin events Knowing Before Joining Orochimaru Sasuke Seems to Contradict the Databook. Which Indicates That WAS her village still safe and sound by That Time, Since she wasn't working under Orochimaru. Another Thing That Seems To Indicate this, as Alicia Mentioned , Is That Karin's Eyes Are Completely Different When one compare her self to the Karin Younger We Were Introduced to chapter 348 in
. Karin's current Sasuke's Eyes Are Alike, They Have a hard, sharp stare, and Sasuke've Had That Look Since we know him, as I Lived His clan trauma when he was just a little kid. Young Karin’s eyes though, don’t reflect such a thing.
And now we’re back to Sasuke and SasuKarin. Since Sasuke kills Orochimaru and assembles Hebi/Taka when he’s 16 years old
, and it’s obvious that Karin has been in charge of the Southern Hideout for a while, it’s safe to assume the following:
Karin must have joined Orochimaru somewhere when she was between 13 and 15 years old

, since as was pointed out before, logic indicates that Sasuke already was with Orochimaru when Karin joined. The flashback we were presented with gives everything even more meaning, as the boy with whose smile she fell in love with comes to stand before her at such a difficult time. It’s quite meaningXC - The Databook states that Karin follows Orochimaru solely due to Sasuke, so why should she have joined him before in the first place, if she’s with him

of Sasuke?
